The online seminar is designed to update and strengthen the knowledge and awareness on clinical competencies of practicing midwives. The program focuses on evidence-based practices in intrapartum assessment and decision-making, safe and clean normal delivery, essential newborn care, and post-birth care of the mother–baby dyad. Key topics include accurate labor monitoring using the partograph, early recognition of danger signs, proper management of normal spontaneous delivery and AMTSL, implementation of Essential Newborn Care (EINC) protocols, newborn assessment, and effective postpartum monitoring, counseling, and documentation. This seminar aims promote adherence to current standards of care, and support the delivery of safe, respectful, and high-quality maternal and newborn services.
